Day one Zhangjiajie National Park

The National Park was just incredible the first day we took the cable car up through the  mountains and then at the top we had to get these hand made shoes to stop us from slipping on all the ice.  There was ice on all the trees and leaves it made for some really fun pictures :)

The morning was really cloudy and it was impossible to see much at the top.  The the clouds started coming in waves so we were able to see glimpses of mountains before they disappeared into the clouds

What we could see when we first got to the top

And then the clouds moved a little and we could see this

And then the clouds moved alot and we were able to see quite a bit

and the clouds came back...

The people we met at the hostel.  The foreigners were the ones  Ben and I went  through the park with.
Day one was a little frustrating but it turned out to be a great day.  As we went down the mountain the clouds cleared and we were able to see so much.  These pictures were just one side of the park.  There was a whole other side to the park that we were able to see the next day.
